Discount Hunters Canada was created with one simple goal: to help families save money when every dollar counts.

Founded in May 2018 by an Indigenous (Métis) mom of two, Discount Hunters Canada began as a grassroots Facebook community built on sharing deals, promo codes, and real savings. At the time—and even more so now—the cost of living was rising at a staggering rate, and too many families were feeling the pressure. What started as a small effort to help others quickly grew into a trusted space where thousands of Canadians come to find relief at the checkout.

Over the years, we’ve built a large and growing database of trusted sellers and brands who regularly send us their best promotions. We do the digging, verifying, and organizing so we can pass those savings directly on to our members—no fluff, no gimmicks, just deals that actually work.

As our community has grown, so has our vision. While Facebook remains where it all began, we’re excited to expand beyond social media and bring Discount Hunters Canada to a dedicated website platform. This allows us to share codes and deals more efficiently, reach a broader audience, and make it even easier for Canadians to save money on the things they need most.
